Daily News Readers Call for Segregation, Daily News Editors Michael Schefer and Sandra Shea Only too Happy to Oblige
Some of the most shameful, and shamefully spelled, comments I’ve ever seen at the Daily News:
Ackerman needs to go. I am surprised anyone with kids in the schools would support Ackerman. Most of the bow tie wearing bros at the protest yesterday look like people who are profiting off of Ackerman. I doubt any of them actually have kids in the schools.
It is funny how the bros are always complaining about the schools but as soon as whitey suggests we make a change the bros then cry racism.
We should segregate the schools. Half the schools would immediately improve. What is the downside?

It’s about steering contracts, its about 125k tax lien, it’s about firing whistle blowers, its about violence in a school brushed off as kids being kids. These people quote test scores i can guarantee not one of them have logged on and personally viewed, it’s all what they read. Test scores don’t mean a thing, it’s an average so good students pick up for the poor students and the crappy students cut class when the test are given.. these people need a wake up call. I couldn’t agree more. If the schools were segregated, you would be able to see the difference in crystal vision. The blacks are so deep in their own ignorance that these responses have become commonplace. This country is in a sad place. We are on our knees for every minority group that’s not educated enough to keep their neighborhoods in decent condition. No wonder why there is so much violence in these schools. The blacks live “eye for an eye” and that is why they are a distructive force wherever they go.

If it was a white man he would be long gone. Could you just imagine if a white male pulled a contract from a black owned company and gave it to a whire company even if the white company would do the work for a couple of million cheaper.You would have that dude from the NAACP (aka Jackie Chiles from Seifeld)stopping traffic and saying what a travisty of justice this has become.

I love reading comments from ignorant racist white people about education, especially when most of the comments are misspelled and have egregious grammar errors. So awesome.
Even more awesome is that the editors, Michael Schefer and Sandra Shea, let this go on, with no moderation. And by “awesome”, I mean “totally reprehensible”.

I love the Philly.com comments. How else would we know what a cross-section of our city was thinking?
Unfortunately, Philly does have its allotments of racists, douchebags, trolls and idiots. Silencing them would make Philly.com that much less interesting.
