How to Deal With Your Rape Baby

In the post below, I explained the impact of HR 5939, the so-called “No Taxpayer Funds for Abortion Act”, co-sponsore by the rapists’ friend, Chris Smith and the rest of the GOP leadership, which is 100% pro-rape. Their bill would re-define rape for the purposes of denying women abortions: in other words, unless your rapist holds you down and beats you up while forcing his penis into your vagina and fucking you while you scream and beg for mercy, you are shit out of luck. If the Chad at the frat slips you a roofie, knocks you out, and rapes you while you lie there unconscious, the GOP says that wasn’t rape, and you can’t get help aborting the rape baby. If you’re an incest victim, that’s not rape either, so no help for you if you don’t want to carry your dad’s baby to term.

As you might imagine, I find these “ideas” to be abhorrent, and want to help the impacted women in any way I can in case this bill is passed. And ladies, YOU are in luck (well, relatively speaking).

You see, in 49 states and Washington DC, they have what are known as “safe haven laws”:

infant safe haven laws have been enacted as an incentive for mothers in crisis to safely relinquish their babies to designated locations where the babies are protected and provided with medical care until a permanent home is found. Safe haven laws generally allow the parent, or an agent of the parent, to remain anonymous and to be shielded from prosecution for abandonment or neglect in exchange for surrendering the baby to a safe haven.

To date, approximately 49 States and Puerto Rico have enacted safe haven legislation. The focus of these laws is protecting newborns. In approximately 13 States, infants who are 72 hours old or younger may be relinquished to a designated safe haven.

In fact, an unwanted baby doesn’t have to be dropped off at a hospital: you can drop it off with the police, the fire department, or the EMTs, and they have to take it. I am not 100% sure, so I called and I’m awaiting a response, but I believe this includes the US Capitol Police.

If that is indeed the case, and this awful bill sponsored by people who support rapists’ rights becomes law, I encourage ANYONE who is raped and impregnated to travel to DC within a week of childbirth, and hand your unwanted rape-baby to the Capitol Hill police, with instructions to give it to the pro-life representative of your choice. if you can’t make it to DC, drop it off at a hospital in your pro-life rep’s district. That way, the state (and therefore the taxpayers) will have to take care of the baby that result from violent crime, the one it insisted you carry. The reason you should drop it off at a hospital in your pro-life rep’s district is so the people who elected him or her are forced shoulder more of those taxes.

One turn, good or bad deserves another. If Chris Smiths and his constituents want to force women to carry rape-babies to term, let them be the one who pay to raise it.

Depends on the state. In Pennsylvania, for instance, you get 28 days, but it has to be a hospital. In D.C., you get a much shorter timeframe, but it can be a hospital, police station, or a firehouse.

I’m tickled that you called the Capitol Police and I can’t wait to hear their answer!

as a matter of fact, they will take your unwanted rape baby, or send you to someone who will.
