Hear Some Music, Help a Dog

Is that not the saddest photo you’ve ever seen? The whole story’s here: he was born with messed up knees, and abused by his owner. The dog needs surgery to walk on all four legs, so a bunch of Philly bands are getting together to raise money to offset the expense, which is being undertaken by Street Tails Philadelphia, a nonprofit animal rescue.
I’m really proud that Delco Nightingale’s on the bill: we haven’t played in Philly since doing the Philly Brewing Company’s open house in mid-December. The other bands are going to be really good too. North Lawrence Midnight Singers have have an easy-going Dylan-esque sound, while Steph Hayes used to be in Stargazer Lily and plays with her own band the Good Problems, who I’ve seen downstairs at the WCL. I’ve never seen either of the other bands, and myspace is dong that thing where it freezes up and then won’t play music, so you’ll have to look them up on your own: I’m sure they’re good.
Anyway, it’s an early show: we’re the last ones on and we’ll be on around 10:00. C’mon out!
