    But the right-wingers don’t give a shit about invasion of privacy, molestation at the airport, or even torture. They LOVE this shit. They were the ones jerking it to Abu Ghraib photos. They’re just pissed that it’s happening to white people. And their sound and fury on this issue will never lead to controls on the kinds of searches they can do– just the kinds of people they can do them to. They’ll codify far more humiliating procedures, as long as those searches only target brown people.
