Rand Paul Volunteer Tim Profitt: I Stomped that Woman
Add Tim Profitt, Rand Paul volunteer, to the He-Man Woman Haters’ Club. After courageously hiding and bravely not taking responsibility for his actions, Profitt said he was sorry (that he got caught, no doubt) and is facing a criminal summons:
Tim Profitt, a volunteer with Paul’s campaign, apologized on Tuesday and told The Associated Press that the camera angle made the scuffle Monday night appear worse that it was. He criticized police for not stepping in and says other supporters warned authorities about the activist.
Profitt will be ordered to appear before a Fayette County District Court Judge, police said.
Paul has cut ties with Profitt, of Paris, Ky., who allegedly assaulted a liberal activist during a rally Monday night in Lexington, his campaign announced Tuesday afternoon.
So you see, he was only doing the police departments’ work for them, and so really it’s the police that are at fault, even though he’s sorry.
So to get it straight: big brave man Mike Pezzano knocked a woman half his size to the ground and helped hold her down, while Tim, pictured below and looking totally not-crazy or filled-with-rage, did the actual stomping.
