Baby Henry Finds a Home

direct action, gratitude June 24th, 2010

Juts a quick note to everyone who’s been writing concerned about Baby Henry: he has found a home with a woman here at work. I think it’s a good fit: she has two daughters who saw the kitty and couldn’t resist. Thanks to everyone who’s offered to adopt Baby Henry, and SPECIAL THANKS to all of you who, without being asked, donated to help him go to the vet. I received $75.00 in donations, and have thrown in $25.00 myself. Those funds will be used to offset veterinary expenses like shots, antibiotics for his eyes, flea treatment if necessary, and a good cleaning.

What an awesome country we’d be if the people who represent us were as kindhearted and generous as you are. I’m so grateful and humbled by your kindness, and thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if Baby Henry could talk, he’d say thanks too.

You’re awesome. And, to prevent future litters, I’m calling a few recommended agencies that catch, spay, and release feral cats in my area.
