Real Life
Sorry for the paucity of postings. I generally don’t blog on the weekend, and I have been much too caught up in real life to pay all that much attention to the frivolousness that we call “US politics.”
But let me give you a quick update.
We finished our bathroom floor, and we’re now collecting the tile and backerboard for the shower and the perimeter.
I started playing with a rockabilly band! Pursuant to that, i got a new haircut, eschewing the US Marines high and tight for something i can style into a pompdour (although I still have to let my bangs grow out).
We’re getting ready to order our seeds for spring and summer! This year looks like tomatoes, hot peppers, cucumbers (on a trellis), chard, turnips, radishes, lettuces, carrots, and (maybe) potatoes grown in straw.
And then I have been playing old time music, hanging out with my son (who turns 6 tomorrow), and homebrewing. In fact, we’ll be tapping my first all-grain this Thursday or Friday!
So yeah… kind of more in tune to reality these days, with less interest in our nation’s notoriously stupid, destructive, and childish politics.
