Sam Shots from October 2009

My brother will have more later today, but here are a few shots from Sam’s whirlwind visit in October. He’ll be coming back in December from the 26-January 5, although there’s a long weekend coming up in November when I might want to squeeze in a visit).

These shots are all pumpkin related.

Sam picked this one out himself. We took it home and carved it into a jack o’lantern.

That crazy looking pumpkin behind Sam is a variety called “fairytale” because it looks like the pumpkin Cinderella’s fairy godmother tunred into a coach.

The pumpkin easily weighed 15 pounds, maybe even more. We used the haybale to mulch the garlic we planted the week before Sam got here.

    Boy, he looks more and more like you every time I see him! Always so nice to see you two together.

    Also, we got a fairytale pumpkin this year. They’re neat-o!
