First Day of School
There’s really not much to tell, as I was only there for a half hour or less. So here are a couple of pictures to tide you, and more directly, me, over until the next visit.
This was taken at the school yard before everyone began lining up…
…and this one was taken right in front of the door. You can see that Sam’s a little nervous.
He’s got the same “i’m-excited-but-not-quite-sure-what-this-is-about” look on his face.
Here, Sam does his best stork imitation.
I’ll write more about the impact of 20 hours of driving, as well as the impact of nearly $300 in travel expenses on my weekly budget, at a later date. I got a half-hour of facetime with my son and met his teachers and principal. That’s enough for now.
I’m driving up again in September, from late 9/25 (I’m driving up after work) through 9/28.
