Deep Thought
Driving 20 hours for a half-hour of time with my son is pathetic.
I suppose I could fly, but it would cost even more after I get done with car rental and everything else.

I’m with ya man… I read your below post too… I really sympathize – it’s hard not to feel a little bitter about the sacrifices you make for your kids sometimes. I got married and had my first at 20 and also gave up touring. The guy I was playing with at the time went on to be a pretty successful artist too… Sux sometimes.

You’ll be a successful parent and artist Brendan, you’re not dead yet. The first day of school is a milestone you can’t miss and one that your son will remember for the rest of his life. You’re his hero. No rock-star can ever reach that height.
I don’t want to sound preachy, I just want you to know that I’m behind you. I want to send positive energy your way. Let me know if I’m being a buttinsky.
