Health Care Reform Betrayed By (Who Else?) Democrats
Max Baucus, Jeff Bingaman, and kent Conrad are greedy whores for the health insurance industry
After weeks of secretive talks, a bipartisan group in the Senate edged closer yesterday to a health-care compromise that omits two key Democratic priorities but incorporates provisions to slow the explosive rise in medical costs, officials said.
These officials said participants were on track to exclude a requirement many congressional Democrats seek for businesses to offer coverage to their workers. Nor would there be a provision for a government insurance option, despite President Obama’s support for such a plan.
Thanks assholes. Say, can you tell me why I should bother supporting Democrats in 2010? Cus I’m seeing a nice long vacation around that time.
See, that’s the thing when you make the same big promise year after year, but which you never intend to keep. People stop trusting you when they realize you’re just a bullshit artist, a common crook, and insincere piece of shit who cares about nothing more than campaign donations and holding onto that precious seat.
Max, Kent, Jeff: guys, you’re not representing ANYONE. Not only do your own states have teensy weensy puny populations (no doubt like your dicks and useless testicles) that make them poor analogs for the rest of the country, my bet is that most of your constituents need health care reform as badly as the rest of us. And by reform, I mean the real thing, not this bullshit, unworkable co-op crap that we all know is going to fail.
Just once, could you do the right thing? Just once could you think past your own interests?
