WaPo’s Dana Milbank and Chris Cilizza are Buffoons.

this is almost too painful to watch:

…but after firing actual reporter Dan Froomkin and throwing a temper tantrum over Huffington Post’s Nico Pitney at the White House press conference yesterday, it’s well worth watching to see exactly the caliber of reporting one can expect from the debased and humiliated Washington Post.

Greenwald says it best:

there is still something about it — the oozing smugness, the view of politics as a juvenile game, the desperation to be above it all and too sophisticated to care, the total lack of self-awareness in failing to realize how embarrassingly unfunny it is — that makes it a tour de force in illustrating what and who so much of the Washington media really are.

Some would use the word “courtesan”. I would use the words “buffoon” and “clown”.

There’s a host of damn goods reason I stopped reading the Washington Post. Milbank and Cilizza are two of them.
