Watching the Iranians protest their government even in the face of deadly force makes me think of what cowardly, lazy sheep we are here in the United States.
George Bush and his cronies stole the 2000 election and may well have stolen the 2004 election, and nobody did shit.
What’s happening in Iran today would never happen here. It just wouldn’t. There’s TV to watch.

I think we’re too inoculated against mass unrest. We’re all too afraid.
Afraid of losing our jobs, of not paying the bills, of not keeping up with the Joneses.
I don’t know who to throw rocks at right now.
