Busy Day, Light Blogging
And perhaps no blogging. I kinda need to refresh my brain.
In other news, by day’s end my fourth raised bed will finally be done. Also, on Sunday, I dug and amended the back bed and planted a couple of arugulas. In the process, I nearly killed a sunflower seedling (last year’s flowers dropped a whole bunch of seeds and we’re seeing those results), but managed to re-plant the poor little guy. I’ll see by tonight whether that was enough to save its life. My mesclun greens have started sprouting, and the hips are about five times the size they were at this time last year. Christina planted the potatoes in a series of aluminum garbage cans by the south fence. And tomorrow I pick up more wood chips, more compost for the beds, and more manure to speed our own compost pile along.
other than that… tired and disgusted with politics and the United States. But what else is new?
