Sam in December 08
After what can only be described as a long and punishing tript to get him, including a blizzard, 4 hours of sleep, the flu, and an hour of interrogation at the border, we had a great visit with Sam. Here are some shots. Click for full size images.
The first few are from the Franklin Institute
The Franklin has an IMAX theatre, and was showing something about bugs in 3D.

…and then we made pizza in another dimension.

The following shots are from our trip down to the Mummer’s Parade (ray has better shots at flickr, don’t steal his stuff).

On the trolley. Sam looks cute. I look sort of like Popeye.

Waiting for the Broad Street Subway
It was REALLY cold on New Year’s Day.

Elliott was particularly miserable. I can’t blame him, i was cold too!

…I’ll post more later as I get ‘em.

I remember the first trip to the heart with my daughter. And the airplanes with my son. Congrats.

[...] I really haven’t written very much about the adventure I had getting Sam into the US for Christmas. [...]
