Portrait of the Artist as a Blonde Wastoid

biography, photoblog January 16th, 2009

Another great shot by Justine Demetrick. This was taken sometime in 1988 or 1989, among several shots for my high school yearbook photo. I think this is right about the time I gave up forever on a straight-edge lifestyle.

The statue behind me is the Blue Angel, a prominent monument in the ,a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Burying_Ground_and_Island_Cemetery”>Common Burying Ground and Island Cemetery. Rumor had it that the statue would weep tears of blood every night, so naturally it was a popular place to drink and screw. The final photo was a bit more posed.
