Monday Sam Day!
Sam comes down on Monday!
I’m not sure what else to add to that other than Sam comes down Monday, and doesn’t leave again until January 4. We’re flying him down this time, it’s a bit easier.
The visit is shorter than I’d like (for a once every other year visit, I kind of think two weeks is the least I should get, especially with school cutting that visit even shorter in 2009), but I guess it balances out against not having to do that loathesome 8 hour drive to Syracuse and back.

Enjoy every living, breathing minute; he will. You may find more opportunities to be with him in the future than you think. From what I’ve been reading here for the last couple of years, you’re a fighter. Conditions are always changing, and you seem to always find a way to adapt. It’s your nature, and an excellent quality at that. He will most likely inherit this survival skill from you. It’s a beautiful gift.
