Dear Jim,

At your blog thingy at National Ass-hat Review, you write:

Rick Warren Was All It Took to Turn Gay Liberals Against Obama?

So Barack Obama selected Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration, and around the righty blogosphere, there is a lot of chuckling over the reaction of gays and liberals — a furious, incredulous sputtering and livid response.

I’m not sure which is the more wrongheaded claim: that I’m gay, that I’m a liberal, or that I’m some sort of true-believer in Barack Obama, the way the National Review worshiped George Bush until the bitter end until the bitter end (that last one is some serious projection, pal: you need to get help).

So let me clue you in, since you are obviously lacking in clues.

I’m not gay, but I certainly consider myself a staunch ally. You don’t have to be gay to support gay rights, and only a bigot would think otherwise.

I’m not a liberal: I’m a leftist. Different animals.

If you have read even one single word of my blog, which you obviously haven’t, you’d know that my support for Barack Obama was always tepid at best until the Palin fruitcake squad started scaring the shit out of me.

So Jimbo, before you make even more ridiculous claims, why not read a bit about the guy you’re writing about.
