Iraqi reporter throws shoes at “President” Bush, in Baghdad. It’s considered a grievous insult in much of the Middle East, equivalent to throwing shit at someone. Even more at the BBC.

Talk about “calling bullshit”!

    Maybe it was the multiple times I saw Talladega Nights this weekend, but I immediately pictured a future Will Ferrell cameo that involves him bragging about his cat-like reflexes. However, my main takeaway is that for all the turmoil in the newspaper industry, there may be some hope for journalism after all.
