Phone Calls for Today

In the wake of Obama’s victory, I will be making some phone calls today.

For instance, I need to know what Joe Lieberman will do now.

Or John Boehner, who I wrote about last week: will he be calling Obama “President Chicken Shit”, or has he come up with a more respectful title? For that matter, does a wisecracking asshole like Boehner expect to get far with Rahm Emmanuel as Obama’s Chief of Staff? Will Boehner even keep his position, or will his disgusted and dazed GOP colleagues force the dunderheaded asshole out?

I’m not sure if Al Franken has won yet, but if so, I’ll be calling Norm Coleman to make fun of him.

I will also be calling several democrats to point out that Obama’s coattails might have been longer if not for some truly odious votes, like the blank checks for Iraq and the bailout for the wealthy, which pissed off a LOT of people.

But all in all, today is a day to celebrate and to make fun of the Republicans, who lost badly.
