Pelosi: The New Direction is “Reward Corruption”
Now this is sweet: Nancy Pelosi has appointed Porter Goss to the new Office of Congressional Ethics. TPM links to The Hill, but frankly I think TPM’s background is the real meat. Goss, you may recall, was forced out of the CIA when it came out that he’d been tied to the now-imprisoned corrupt Duke Cunningham and Hookergate, about which TPM has a wealth of information.
“”The American people have entrusted us with their hopes and aspirations for themselves, for their families, and for their future. We will honor that trust.” Which explains why someone who presided over corruption and prostitution parties is now minding the Ethics Office.
Somehow that “new direction” seems to be something of a downward spiral, eh?
