A Whole New Meaning
Given his outrageous vote on FISA, following his broken promise to filibuster the bill, perhaps it’s time for Obama to redefine what “Listening to America” means:
It’s sure not his base he’s listening to. I joined the anti-FISA group at Obama’s website two weeks ago. I had to switch over to the “digest” version because my inbox was overwhelmed. Here’s a screenshot (click on the thumbnail, it’s a biggie):
And here’s what I received this morning. Again, click the thumbnail, it’s a biggie. Someone has gotten himself into a whole heap of trouble with his supporters.
…and on and on and on. That’s all from one digest, and it is not the complete list of posts: I have at least 4 or 5 other screenshots from the same digest.
It will be very funny if Obama’s choice to rent a stadium for his nomination turns out to be a bust. Well-deserved too.
