Useless

Philadelphia, media, nincompoopery February 9th, 2008

Philly’s got a new police chief, and he’s put out an APB on some of the city’s most wanted criminals.

Eager to help, the Inquirer has included a jpeg you can click on to see who these criminals are.
Here is that jpeg, full size.

Can you tell who those people are? Can you even make out their names? Never mind that when you read the article, the obnoxious Philadelphia Auto Show pop-up ad opens on top of the image: the ad is twice the size of this so-called “public service” and is, you know, actually READABLE. Unlike the list of felons.

Useless, like everything else in the Inquirer…

UPDATED: my readers point out what I should have caught: there’s a PDF link at the bottom of the article that goes to a LONG list of Philly’s most want. Time for new glasses, I guess.

The Inky’s still pretty damn useless…

Maybe you didn’t see the 34 page pdf that was linked at the bottom of the article. Much more legible than what you were trying to look at. http://media.philly.com/documents/PhilaWantedList.pdf

At the end of the article is a link to the warrants page where a .PDF will open with all the mugs.
