I Am Not Voting for Ron Paul, But These Are Just HILARIOUS.

That’s a comment from Slamhead at this admittedly silly video of the Ron Paul blimp. You DO know about the blimp, right?
THIS video is even funnier, kind of like watching the Hindenburg in reverse, accompanied by music (as Jane so concisely puts it) “sort of like “The Ride of the Valkyries” played on a farfisa organ.
I might vote for the guy simply because his followers tickle my funny bone. I am laughing with them as much as I am laughing AT them. Like Glenn Greenwald, I believe the Ron Paul campaign IS “injecting into our public discourse crucial positions that no Democratic [or Republican, added by brendan] candidate will touch, either because they don’t believe them or lack the courage to advocate them”. So more power to the guy, even if he is a wackjob i could never vote for.
For that matter, more power to Mike Huckabee, who’s giving the establishment GOP fits, according to this social conservative blogger (who has even more to say, and quite accurately I mght add, here).
