In Which My Brother is Harassed by Comcast

Ray’s got a great photostream at flickr.

So I walked right up to the building and snapped a couple shots. What’s the big deal, right?

Well, building “security” came up to me and asked if I worked there. I told them, “No, just taking photographs.” and it was at that point that they told me I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the building.

I told them yes I can, it’s in public view and they reiterated that Comcast said I couldn’t. Then they mentioned that since I was on the actual job site, I couldn’t take photos.

Fair enough, until they told me I would have to cross the street to take any more photos. I told them that I could step right off the curb and take photos and at that point, they began arguing with me that I couldn’t take pictures unless I was across the street.

Go read the rest. And check out some of his shots while you’re there.
