Man, all this embarrassing nightmare garbage is giving me flashbacks to something a few vague years ago that I've managed to block (blot?) out regarding our lack of leadership from what purports to be the good side, and the relatively admirably unfuckwithable nature of our enemy. If I didn't want to spray hot fatal shit on every last one of them, I'd join them, purely out of frustration. The enemy knows how to play the game, and I like people who are true to their word; on a personal level, aren't those the types that human nature dictates we should gravitate towards? Which leaves me (and, presumably, you and others in the Blue-by-default camp) in that horrible, horrible deja vu epiphany state (I think the end point is called cognitive dissonance) where I realize that all is fucking LOST and there is no hope, no matter who we vote for or how hard we try. The evil are winning fair and square.
