Her support for stem cell research was the overwhelming factor in her election success. The stem cell issue was a bitter and hard fought battle that still rages, even after it won at the polls. I called Claire's office and told the lady that answered the phone that I was deeply disappointed with McCaskill's vote against the Moveon ad and I take it as a frontal assault on all of our rights to free speech and I will not forget it in the next election.
