Condemning MoveOn: You Gotta Be Kidding Me.
The Senate is going to vote on a “sense of the senate” resolution that condemns MoveOn. Any Democrat going along with this, no matter who they are, will receive no quarter from me, and no dollars either.
This is non-binding toothless measure is in the same family as the Republicans’ “sense of the senate” resolution yesterday that the troops sure are working hard in Iraq, but don’t expect us to give them time off”: toothless, non-binding, and meaningless. But did I mention hilarious?
After all, the Congress gets lower marks than even Bush, with the GOP in Congress getting the lowest marks of all. No one likes them. They are doomed in 2008, and they know it.
Being condemned by a group as unpopular and despised as the GOP is a badge of honor. Who cares what the Republicans think, other than a few Bush Dog Democrats (who should probably call themselves “Bush Pussies” since that’s what they are)?
Fuck ‘em.
