What is surreal about this whole filibuster thing is that it’s a bunch of wealthy people on the public payroll acting like it’s this big deal to stay up all night when soldiers and civilians in Iraq stay up all night long in 130 degree heat with death knocking at the door every minute of the day.
Big whoop, these old men and women, staying up for 24 hours. Big fuckin’ whoop.
