Larry Flynt, American Patriot
I will happily admit it: I have deep affection for sleaze-monger and pornographer Larry Flynt. He stands up for free speech, he is absolutely HILARIOUS, and he hates both Republicans and hypocrisy. This is, after all, the man who claimed his first sexual experience was with a chicken: he has nothing to hide, and despises the puritans and sex-fascists among us. During the Clinton Persecution, Larry Flynt brought down Bob Livingston, who had an extremely brief career as Speaker of the House, for his own sexual dalliances, and threatened to expose countless others until they dropped the subject. The fact is, David Vitter, the right-wing, “marriage-defending” republican caught up in Jeanne Palfrey’s list of customers, stepped forward only because Hustler was going to out him.
So it makes my heart go pitter patter, pitter patter to see that “Hustler publisher Larry Flynt said Wednesday that investigators working for the magazine are involved in more than 20 investigations relating to his recent call for information on Washington sex scandals.”
Go Larry! Go Larry! It’s ya birthday, go Larry!

I’ve always loved Mr. Flynt. If only more people would call out the hypocrites. What gets me is the media keeps pounding the “sin” issue when the real issue is the “crime”. If they don’t want to recognize it as a crime then the law should be repealed and the “sin” thing can be left to each individuals conscience. There! I said it. Now, where did I set my big bowl of ice-cream?

Henry Rollins recently interviewed Larry Flynt, and I’ve got to say I appreciate Flynt that much more.
