Sam in May
Sam visited in May for 10 days. He’s coming down again on June 28. I finally got the cable necessary to transfer photos from the digital camera to the pc, so here are shots from his last visit.
Sam was showing me that he had made his pretzel into a letter P.
I get my alloted 10 days in another two weeks. He’ll be a totally different kid by that time, just the same way he’s totally different every other time I see him. Time sure flies when you’re missing your kid’s childhood.
And people wonder why I hate…

I’ve been reading your blog for some time now, and my heart breaks for you whenever you have to send him back. Now I can see why.

Can you photoshop out the booger action on the one with Floyd? That would be a great pic (but it looks like Sam has a bloody nose!)
Looking forward to hangin’ with Sam on the next visit. We’ll have to take him for a walk in the Italian Market….

Sam is obviously brilliant. I was in my 30’s before I began making letters with my pretzels. Never could make a decent “Q” let me know if he does.

you should set your camera to take the dates out of the photos, brendan. ruins it for me.
you should be able to set it up like that, and still preserve the date in the file.
just sayin’…
