They ran away from their timeline because they knew that Bush would hold back money from the troops and blame the dems for it. The MSM was already pursuing the story for the administration. Yet that idea is a crock of shit. The dems should speak up very loudly that they will support increases in pay and weaponry for soldiers and defund the budget for the contractors. The last time I had heard that they tried to audit the contractors they couldn't even give an accurate count of how many there were, not to mention what they were getting paid. Bush acts like a pissant petulant child and they act like celebrity nannies afraid of losing their jobs if they actually make the child behave. Stupid stupid.
