Warning: this clip is from the 1980-something movie Suburbia and has some pretty unacceptable violence toward women in this scene. Problem is, none of the other clips had anything close to good sound quality. I saw DI a half-dozen times, great stuff. And no, the LA scene is in no way reflective of the RI scene. In RI, girls always ended up in the pit, some of them more aggressive than the guys.
Sick Of It All: Take the Night Off
One of the most brutally heavy bands to come out of the New York Hardcore Scene. Check out that breakdown at about the 1:45 mark. It’s hard for me not to bang my head here in the office. I really like to turn my car stereo up to 11 when this comes on.
