Music Stuff: Perfomance and Mastered Tracks

Just a quick announcement that my country band will be playing at the Tritone this Friday night. We haven’t exactly come up with a name yet, so for the evening we’re (ugh) The Phillbillies. Dan, who I share bass and guitar duties with, came up with “Tears for Beers”, which I think is great. I’ve come up with “Satan’s Jeweled Crowns” and simplifying, “The Crowns.” Our steel player barfed up “The Romantic Explosions” and I think I may have to kill him for that. Our fiddle player’s last band was called “The Whiskeys.” Considering we’re way more honky-tonk than old time or bluegrass, I kinda lean toward a name like that. Anyway, come out. We’ll be playing some Hank Senior, some Gram, some Possum, quite a bit of Buck, and a couple of hymns.

In a completely different genre, La Resistance uploaded our newly mastered tracks to the site, so drop by and give a listen.
