A Good One.
Peggy Banaszek’s running to be the next PA Democratic State Representative in the 182nd District. (This myspace will have to do until the official campaign site is up and running).
I’d love to vote for Peggy, but I’m not in her district. I know her pretty well from Drinking Liberally, where she’s been a regular for the past 6 months at least.
Peggy’s really awesome, a very warm, upfront, and honest young woman, committed to Philadelphia. As you’ll see from her bio, she boasts a long history of community and government service.
But mostly, I like Peggy because like so many people my age involved in politics, she’s sick of business as usual, she wants to try different things, and she’s a progressive. And she adds a lot to Drinking Liberally too.
