It’s a Miracle!!
AddedI guess this video is probably more prosaic to my female visitors, but since I’ve never seen what the girls got during sex ed, it’s pretty amusing.
At Thompson Junior High, the coach talked about guys getting their balls knocked into their abdomens by a bad grounder and the importance of a cup. I don’t think I remember any videos, but by that time I already knew what fucking was anyway, in theory if not practice.

yes, yes it is miraculous, but I have to say when they split us up in grade school I don’t know what they did with you boys, but we watched menstruation videos. (The follow up questions included “Will we need band aids?”)
Then my mother decided she should get her own menstruation video to watch.(big 80’s hair, a message about body image, and tampons)
Then my step-mother had us watch the video of my sister’s birth…many, many times.(gruesome)
I have to say I am not that impressed by the menstruation videos anymore. Although this one does get bonus points and kudos for being dated, animated, and by disney (I mean come on, that rocks!)
If these people need to see anything I think it is skippy the bigoted dog! Show them Skippy!

I wish someone would post some of the old drug education films on youtube. Remember Angel Dust In My Eye? Or Death on the Highway? Or the films about pill parties that showed a bunch of filthy, washed-out, 70s-era, post-hippy-looking teenagers eating multi-colored “drugs” that looked more like Good N Plentys or M&Ms than pharmacological brain manglers?
Actually, Angel Dust may have even been a film strip.
What was that health teacher’s name again?

My pathetic school district was still using that film in the 70s, I’m sad to say.
