Badge of Shame, Part 2: Michael Smerconish
I wrote earlier today that Philadelphia’s number one rating, among cities its size, for violent crime is a badge of shame that stains us all.
But Atrios has it right as well: home-grown, right-wing radio pundit Michael Smerconish, who believes the phrase “Habeus corpus matters” is “appalling.”
Philadelphia now has two reasons to be ashamed.
