I recorded, as usual, WRDV’s Country Gold Classics, on Friday. I was watching TV, so I kept the volume low.
I played the tape on Saturday morning as I read about another shooting in Philly, murder in Iraq, murder in Lebanon and Israel, the fool in the oval office. It was 9:00 AM and I desperately needed a drink.

Webb my man, here’s to you. It’s my first one today. You gotta be drinking Victory Gin for breakfast to get through this world we’ve made for ourselves.
